On
Easter Saturday all eyes were on
Royal Randwick for
Day One of the ATC The Championships which is renown as one of the best day’s racing on the calendar. Whilst added to the day, around Australia there were stakes races conducted in other states to compliment such a terrific day’s entertainment.
Keeping our eye on the
black-type races where results can impact on the commercial value of close relations to winners and placegetters. Whilst sires can keep their commercial appeal in front of industry participants, it’s always fascinating to watch as race results shape the industry.
Dynamic Syndications were watching to see how such races may impact upon various sire’s progeny we have already in the stable and if any results impacted upon any specific horse.
We were delighted to see the following results across Australia:
ZOUSTAR had
3 stakes winners including
JOLIESTAR who won the
Gr1 TJ Smith 1200m.
We have purchased a yearling filly by Zoustar x Siteki.
SNITZEL was sensational again. He had
2 Stakes Winners and 3 stakes placegetters including
Campione D'Italia - 56.5 who won the breed shaping
2YO ATC Inglis Sires' Gr1 1400m.
This was his
first Gr1 win and it pleased us as we have a mare named
Altercation who is a
close female relation to Campione D'Italia. Now he brings his Gr1 result to her pedigree page.
Campione D'Italia and Altercation’s Dams are half-sisters.
Secondly, we purchased a filly by SNITZEL x NORDIQUE (GB) by Galileo.
THE AUTUMN SUN was again producing black type results when he sired
AUTUMN BREAK to win the
Carbine Club Gr3 and had
AUTUMN BOY finish
runner-up in the
Gr1 Doncaster.
We have a yearling filly by THE AUTUMN SUN x SANDALEUSE (USA).
Both
FARNAN with PROFOUNDLY and
SAVABEEL with ESSENTRIC NATURE added
stakes winners.
We have a yearling colt by FARNAN x HUBOOR (IRE) a stakes placed 2yo.
We also have a Yearling Colt by SAVABEEL x SMASHING (Pins) a stakes placed mare.
Whilst
DUNDEEL sired MILITERIZE who finish
third in the Gr1 Doncaster.
This was important to us as
we purchased a yearling by Dundeel out of Fairouz (USA) (Dubawi) at the Inglis Classic and she is bred on this exact cross.
Finally, we are pleased to report
STORM LEOPARD ran a gallant third in the Gr1 Derby.
We purchased the
yearling Half-Brother to STORM LEOPARD at the Magic Millions.
